Talking Boats this Winter
Thursday, February 13th 2025

If you live in midcoast Maine (or visit) and you’re looking to get out of the house and “play” with boats ahead of warmer weather when you can actually get outdoors and play with boats, check out the Saturday morning Boat Talks that are scheduled to run every other Saturday through April 12 at the Sail, Power, and Steam Museum in Rockland.
The series features local marne professionals, who discuss their area of expertise. Programs begin at 9 a.m.; registration is appreciated, but walk-ins are accepted. A $10 fee at the door includes coffee and donuts.
The schedule includes Outboard Engines with Jeff’s Marine, Feb. 15; Marine Electornics with Hamilton Marine, March 1; Sails and Rigging with Bohndell Sails, March 15; Maine Coatings and Finishes with Epifanes, March 29; Marine Safety Equipment with Chase Leavitt, April 12.
