It’s March and that means boat show time in Maine

The Maine Boatbuilders Show will take place from March 24-26 in Portland, but will be in a new location this year. The show, now in its 30th year, has moved to the Portland Sports Complex at 512 Warren Ave.
In addition to booths showcasing marine products and fine Maine-built boats, the show also features lectures and a maritime flea market, hosted by Maine Maritime Academy alumnae. There also will be an engine diagnosis competition between Maine vocational high schools from 10-12 on Saturday. Admission is $15 per day at the door; tickets are available online. Children under 12 accompanied by adults will be admitted free.
The show will run from 10am to 6 pm on Friday March 24th and Saturday March 25th, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday March 26th. To learn more about the 30th Maine Boatbuilders Show go to www.portlandyacht.com
